Karobi’s Ghees and Chocoghees are hand made in small batches in Karobi’s home kitchen from unsalted West Country Organic grass fed butter and organic spices. The long gentle cooking process means the milk solids and impurities separate from the butter fat and are caramelised slowly before filtering them out, leaving a clear golden ghee, rich in depth with a delicious nutty buttery caramel flavour and almost entirely free of casein and lactose.

Ghee is a traditional healing food which for centuries has been recognised and highly valued in Ayurvedic medicine.

Ghee is completely free from the harmful trans-fats found in other oils and is one of the most stable cooking oils due to its high smoke point of 250°C ……. more
